We Are Aurora Youth is a program designed to give the youth ages 13 to 18 of Aurora a fun and safe place to hang out during school breaks. Youth can receive free entry to a designated recreational center on weekdays from noon to 7 p.m. Youth will be able to participate in staff led activities such as basketball, volleyball, flag football, esports, gift card competitions, and other activities.

From noon to 4 p.m. the designated recreation central will have free meals for youth provided by Aurora Public Schools during the We Are Aurora Youth program.     

We Are Aurora Youth's next time of operation will be Spring Break. For Central Recreation Center and Moorhead Recreation Center, this will take place from March 10-14. For Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse this will take place March 17-21. Check back soon for more information!

Support Youth Development

Be a positive influence in the life of a child! Give back to youth in Aurora by volunteering at summer and afterschool meal sites, or help lead enrichment activities in afterschool programs held at school sites in north Aurora, or volunteer in youth drop-in programs at our recreation centers.
