Schedule a Wedding/Civil Union Ceremony:

• Ceremonies are performed Monday through Friday at noon and 5 p.m.; you must arrive by 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.

• You must obtain a marriage/civil union license and bring it with you. Marriage/civil union licenses are available from the Clerk's Office in any Colorado county. Most Arapahoe County DMV locations provide licenses.

• Marriage/civil union licenses are only valid for 35 days from the date of issue. Once signed, licenses must be returned to the County Clerk's Office within 63 days.

• To schedule your ceremony call 303.739.6535. Please call well in advance to ensure a judge will be available.

• Witnesses are not required, but family and friends are welcome.

• Call immediately if you must cancel. If you do not call in advance to cancel and fail to show up, you will not be able to reschedule.

• Appear on time and let the Marshals at the front door know you are here for a wedding/civil union. They will direct you to the appropriate courtroom.
