Education and Resources for Teachers and Students

Aurora Water has one of the region’s most comprehensive water education programs. Recognized throughout Colorado as a leader in youth education, these programs have won numerous awards.

Our certified environmental educators conduct free programs for public and private schools in Aurora.

Classroom Presentations

Understanding where our water comes from, and how to protect it and conserve it are the cornerstones of ensuring students today receive the information necessary to become our future leaders and stakeholders. 

These grade-specific presentations for PreK-12 students meet Colorado’s State Academic Standards, as well as correlate to school district curriculum. Programs are also available for youth groups such as scouting groups, summer camp programs and environmental groups. 


Resources

Aurora Water offers continuing education Project Wet and Project Learning Tree workshops for K-12 educators. Teachers from Aurora Public Schools and Cherry Creek Public Schools located in Aurora can earn free credit. Click on the link above for more information about the workshops.
