For 2024, the format changed for the Business Recognition Awards, with our elected leaders and city management visiting each place of business to distribute the awards directly to the recipients. Video profiles of the winners are available below.
The program recognizes not only the economic vitality that businesses of all sizes and types bring to Aurora, but also the support these businesses provide to their employees and broader community. Award winners will be honored later this year.
Nominees will be evaluated by one or more of the following criteria: resiliency; innovation and creativity; service industry and hospitality; small, small business; and culture and community.
