One of the City Council's goals is to ensure that every young person in Aurora will have access to fundamental resources he or she needs to succeed. Aurora has many options for youth through classes, programs and resources. By developing quality parks, recreation, libraries, natural areas and open space, Aurora provides a superior quality of life for its residents and their families.

911 Rules for Kids:
Teach your children the proper way to use 911.

Aurora Scholars:
A program sponsored by the City Council to reward Aurora students who make a difference in their community and schools

Bicycle Safety:
The Aurora Police Department want you to be safe when riding your bike on city streets.

Camps:
During school breaks, the city offers plenty of camp opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends.

Car Seat Inspections:
Get your baby's car seat inspected for safety to be sure it is properly installed in your car. Check for event dates and times.

Children's Theatre:
The Aurora Fox Arts Center offers youth drama classes year-round as well as summer theater productions.

Recreation Guide:
From cooking classes to sports leagues, there are plenty of ways to have fun in Aurora.

Gang Reduction Project:
The city of Aurora and other community organizations work with at-risk youth to keep them out of gangs.
