Under city charter, the Civil Service Commission is responsible for administering the separate Civil Service System to include hiring uniformed members of the Aurora Police Department and Aurora Fire Rescue.

You must register to participate by submitting an application for the promotional position by using the above link. This will serve as your "letter of intent".
