Usually meets at the Aurora Center for Active Adults, 30 Del Mar Circle, on the first Monday of each month at 1 p.m. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, meetings are held virtually. To enhance the quality of life of the older-adult population in Aurora by supporting current programs and promoting the development of new ones in the areas of:

- Nutrition
- Legislation
- Recreation
- Education
- Advocacy
- Networking
Qualifications
Must be an Aurora resident, registered voter and cannot hold any paid, elected or appointed position with the city or any Board of Education. Members will be at least 45 years of age, with the majority of the commission over 55 years of age.
