Our Parks, Our Places: A Plan for Aurora's Parks, Recreation and Open Space is the department's master plan, formally adopted in April 2024. 

Our Parks, Our Places was carefully crafted following more than a year of public engagement and community input.

The plan crafts organizational themes and guiding principles, strategically pinpointing opportunities for growth in operational efficiencies, and elevating the management of infrastructure, assets and programming initiatives. The result is a roadmap for the sustainable and comprehensive management of Aurora's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.
