A fire in north Aurora this afternoon threatened homes nearby and damaged an outdoor shed.
At approximately 5 p.m. Aurora Fire Rescue responded to the 1100 block of N. Clinton St. following reports of a fire in the yard of a home. With high winds this afternoon, firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent spread to nearby homes.
Thankfully, no injuries occurred during the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
