The city of Aurora has 31 boards, commissions, committees and/or authorities composed of resident volunteers appointed by the Aurora City Council. Boards and Commissions meeting are open to the public and have the possibility of a potential quorum of council members.
A resident's point of view provides valuable insight to the operations of the city and council's decision-making process. The job of boards and commissions members is crucial to the success of Aurora's representative government. New and existing operations are reviewed and an appropriate course of action is suggested to city management and the City Council.
