The Aurora Museum Foundation is proud to present the 25th Annual Festival of Wreaths

What is the Festival of Wreaths?

The Festival of Wreaths is an annual fundraiser organized by the Aurora Museum Foundation and Aurora History Museum and Historic Sites.
Beginning on November 5, festive wreaths created by members of the community will be displayed in the AHM Community Gallery. This year the Festival of Wreaths opening event will be part of The Grand Celebration on November 16, which also includes a celebration of the Aurora History Museum's 45th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of Trolley Trailer #610.
Support the museum by visiting, voting for your favorite wreath, and bidding on wreaths in-person or online.
Silent bidding will take place on Bidding Owl, and a live auction event will occur at the Fundraiser Event.  All proceeds from the online auction and the November 16th live auction event support exhibits and educational programs. See below for details.

The Grand Celebration, Anniversary and Fundraiser Event

Saturday, November 16, starting at 3 p.m.
Join us at The Grand Celebration to celebrate 45 years of Aurora History Museum, 10 years of the Trolley Gallery and our 25th annual Festival of Wreaths. Support your local museum while you enjoy entertainment, drinks, and appetizers at the Aurora History Museum.
See this year’s wreaths and bid in live and silent auctions that help fund the exhibits, programs, and outreach you love.

Santa Photos in Trolley #610
Come take part in a unique photo opportunity for a great cause. For the first time ever, Santa is making a stop at the Aurora History Museum and trading in his red sleigh for Aurora's iconic Trolley Trailer 610.

Santa will be at the museum from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 for the community to take pictures with.* Visitors can also enjoy sweet treats, face painting and museum scavenger hunts. Don't forget to stop by the Community Gallery to view this year's lineup of wreaths that are part of the annual Festival of Wreaths fundraiser.

Cost: Suggested donation of $5 per group or donate what you can.

How do I vote for my favorite wreath?

We will also hold a ballot for a People's Choice wreath. Come to the museum to view the wreaths and vote for your favorite while you're here. People's Choice ballots are in-person only.

How do I bid online?

Bid via Bidding Owl.
Bidding ends on Dec. 8.

What Do Donations Fund?

This year's proceeds will go towards saving Aurora's history through obtaining a new museum storage facility. The new storage facility is a critical need to sustain the long-term preservation, conservation and care of Aurora's history for future generations.
