Drainage Criteria Manual

Drainage Criteria Cvr ThumbThe Drainage Criteria Manual focuses on drainage criteria and submittal requirements for master, preliminary and final drainage studies. There are also sections that discuss water quality, as well as erosion and sediment control. This manual is used in planning and design stages because most development requires that resultant drainage is considered part of the planning and design.

Material Prequalification

Materials Lab ThumbnailIn accordance with the City of Aurora Roadway Design and Construction Specifications, any material used in the right-of-way must be approved prior to use. Material that has not been approved prior to use in the right-of-way is subject to rejection. Posted are the current approved materials for use within the city of Aurora (effective 2018-2019). Additional items may be added at a later date.





Testing Requirements

The Materials Lab evaluates and verifies that materials used in roadway and utility infrastructure construction meet or exceed city standards and specifications. It also provides quality assurance and quality control materials for testing asphalt, concrete and soils for city-funded projects.
