Project WET (Water Education Today) is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water. They provide hands-on, science-based water education curriculum and resources to formal and non-formal educators around the world. Our team uses Project WET activities and curriculum as the basis of many of our programs.
Project Learning Treeis committed to advancing environmental education, forest literacy and green career pathways using trees and forests as windows on the world. Our award-winning resources offer a lifetime of learning from early childhood through adulthood. In addition, our wide and diverse network provides professional development for educators and opportunities for young adults to explore forests and green careers.
Our team members are trained as Project WET and Project Learning Tree facilitators and have more than 30 years of combined experience using Project WET materials to teach Aurora students about local water issues. In addition, we also facilitate the annual Forests to Faucets Teacher workshops in which teachers learn how to use Project WET and Project Learning Tree activities to enhance their lessons about water.
