Scuba Dive Area
The Scuba Dive Area at the Aurora Reservoir is open daily, dawn until dusk. Night diving is not permitted. A day pass or annual pass is required for park entry. No additional fee is required for diving. Scuba rental gear is NOT available at the Aurora Reservoir.

• Divers have the option to rent a key for $20 to unlock the gate and drive into the loading zone next to the Scuba Diva Area. This is not a parking area - it is only for loading and unloading.

• There is an ADA accessible path into the water at the Scuba Dive Area. Grills are permitted on the cement pads only.

Open Water Swim Training Course

The Open Water Swim Training course is located within the Scuba Dive Area. It is marked by three orange buoys that form a ¼-mile perimeter triangle. Swimmers will need an Aurora Reservoir day pass or annual pass to enter the park. This course is for training purposes, not recreational swimming.

Location:
The Scuba Dive Area and Open Swim Training Area are located at the far northeast part of the reservoir. As you enter the park look for the East Lot sign (with a Scuba icon) and take a left. That road will take you to the east parking lot below the dam. Take the steps up to the top of the dam and head left to the east end of the reservoir. The area is marked off by buoys.
