Park & Open Space Permits

Aurora offers well-maintained parks, beautiful open space areas and two scenic reservoirs. A Park and Open Space Permit is required, and a fee will be assessed, at any city-owned park, recreation area, open space site, trail or reservoir if the request is for commercial use, or if the proposed activity will impact other park users and/or general park operations. 2022 Permits

-Our Commercial Fitness fee structure will be changing in 2022. The permit fee will be based on the months your permit is active. April-September: $25 per month October-March $15 per month
-The 2022 Blackout dates where no permits will be issued are: April 2nd-3rd, April 9th-10th, April 19th-May 1st, May 26th-30th, June 11th-12th, June 26th-July 4th, July 8th-10th, August 18th-21st, September 3rd-5th, October 1st, November 5th, December 6th. 


Unsure what impacts your proposed event may have? For the success of your event, please contact us 30 days (at a minimum) in advance.
