Violinist Josie Quick and her husband Tom Carleno, an award-winning guitarist, bring us “Acoustic World Fusion,” an exuberant, exotic, vivacious blend of world music, progressive jazz and blues.

Salome Songbird Folk Trio

The acoustic trio Salomé Songbird channels jazz, baroque, bebop and bluegrass influences into original songs inspired by mental health, religious trauma and cartoons.

A guitar, harmonica blues duo will perform timeless music of Howling Wolf, Junior Wells, Sonny Boy Williamson, John Mayall and so much more, including tasty original music.

War of the Worlds

A handful of professional actors portray all the roles and produce all the live sound and music for a unique performance from the historic, somewhat infamous original October 1938 broadcast adapted from H.G. Wells ‘s novel.

Captivating vocals, original songs and genre-bending music ranging from soul to R&B to hip-hop, all the way to rock and blues, accompanied by Retro Mitch on electronic drums.

The Bishop's Wife Live Radio Play

Tuesday, Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m., Martin Luther King Jr. Library, 9898 E. Colfax Ave.

A supernatural romantic comedy for the holidays featuring a handful of professional actors portraying all the roles and producing all the live sound and music. Inspired by live radio shows from 1930 to 1955.
