Explorers can participate in regional and out-of-state competitions. These competitions vary from patrol-based to tactical competitions with other Explorer posts nationwide. Explorers attend various trainings leading up to the competition. Explorers also help with community events, special requests from the Aurora Police Department, and conferences.
Annual Awards Ceremony
There is a annual Awards Ceremony where Explorers are recognized for their time put into the post, training, competing, conference attendance, dedication, commitment, and leadership to the post. The work Explorers do never goes unrecognized.
