Small fire in a townhome complex quickly located and brought under control.
At approximately 01:30pm this afternoon, a small fire in a townhome complex was quickly located and brought under control by Aurora Fire Rescue crews. Aurora Fire Rescue was initially dispatched to a fire in a townhome in the area of East Iliff Ave. and South Revere St.
Upon arrival, crews noticed smoke and made entry through the garage of the residence to find moderate smoke conditions. Fire crews proceeded through the residence until they located the point of origin of the incident and quickly brought the fire under control.
Crews verified that fire had not extended into other areas of the residence and the incident is still under investigation at this time. No injuries reported as a result of the incident.
