Multi vehicle accident with extrication at Smoky Hill rd. & Versailles pkwy injures 4.
At approximately 12:20 pm, AFR crews responded to a multiple vehicle accident in the area of Smoky Hill Rd and Versailles Pkwy that involved at least 4 passenger vehicles. Crews approached the scene and began triaging the parties involved. After a quick assessment, crews called for extrication resources in order to free parties from one of the involved vehicles. In all, 4 patients were treated on scene and 3 were transported to local emergency departments with serious injuries. One patient was treated and released on scene after declining transport to the hospital.
