As the Aurora Animal Shelter building ages and struggles to meet the needs of our growing city, the best way for the city of Aurora to care for the animals in the community is a larger and more comprehensive facility. Join us in launching our extended fundraiser to support the construction of a new animal shelter facility. The estimated cost of building a new facility is between $30 million and $40 million, depending on the design. The city is working on the design phase and securing funding sources. The funds raised from the Wine and Wags Fundraiser will help close the funding gap. Together, we can create a brighter future for the animals in Aurora!
The Wine and Wags Fundraiser will include wine tasting, appetizers, live entertainment, silent auction, pet supply vendors and much more! Help us reach our fundraising goal for this event of $50K!
This is a pet-friendly event; dogs must be leashed. The dress attire for this event is casual.
