The city of Aurora’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is thrilled to introduce Summer Vibes, an exciting event series tailored for teens. Join us from 4 to 7 p.m. for the two remaining dates of this first-year event. All activities, entertainment and prizes are free. Thanks to everyone who participated during the first event June 20.
The remaining events are as follows:
Thursday, July 18 - Extreme Sports at Wheel Park, 2465 S. Chambers Road
Embrace the thrill of extreme sports with a semi-pro skateboard demonstration, skateboarding lessons and a mobile ropes course. Personalize a T-shirt and participate in raffles to win a BMX bike, a skateboard or an inflatable kayak. It's a day of action and adventure.
Thursday, Aug. 1 - Olympic Games at Appaloosa Park, 5575 S. De Gaulle St.
Test your skills in a variety of Olympic-inspired activities, including a golf simulator, human foosball, archery tag and street curling. Compete for the chance to win incredible prizes like Colorado Rapids tickets, Denver Broncos tickets and a Chromebook. It's all about fun, competition and making memories.
Each event will also feature a live DJ, local food trucks and a variety of arts and crafts stations. Gather your friends, bring your energy and make this summer one for the books with Aurora's Summer Vibes! Don’t miss out on the coolest teen events of the season.
