At approximately 7:30 am, Aurora Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at 8th Avenue & Picadilly Road. Upon arrival, AFR units found a two vehicle accident involving a commercial dump truck and a sedan with a single occupant. After triage of the accident, 2 patients were identified and 1 was transported with non serious injuries to a local emergency room.
The 2nd patient required extrication by AFR's technical rescue team and was treated on the scene of the accident.
At this time we don't have any information as to the cause of the accident, it is under investigation by the Aurora Police Department.
