As the city of Aurora continues to grow, improving and maintaining transportation infrastructure remains a top priority.
In 2018, the Aurora City Council approved funding for more than two dozen transportation priority projects based on congestion reduction, first- and last-mile station connections, multi-modal connectivity, safety and cost per daily trip served.
Projects target roadways, intersections and sidewalks, and are slated for completion within eight to 10 years.
