Aurora Conference Center URA

The future is here.

Located in north Aurora adjacent to DIA, the Aurora Conference Center Urban Renewal Plan includes a 1,500-room hotel and a 300,000- to 400,000-square-foot conference center designed to attract large out-of-state meetings to the area.

Construction on the long-awaited Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center at the northeast corner of 64th Avenue and Himalaya Street is now complete.

The 1.9-million-square-foot Gaylord Rockies features 1,501 rooms and more than 486,000 square feet of conference and meeting space on 85 acres.

Each year, the $800 million facility is expected to attract more than 450,000 visitors and produce a net new economic benefit of $273.3 million to the state. More than 1,200 employees work there.

Rockies Village is a 129-acre development in the planning stages around the Gaylord Rockies, and it will eventually feature commercial, office, retail, multi-family residential, hotels, parks and open space.
