The city of Aurora Youth Sports division offers flag football each fall for boys and girls. The flag football program emphasizes skill development, participation fun and teamwork!

Flag football programs take place at various facilities in the city like Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, 25400 E Alexander Drive and Olympic Park, 15501 E Yale Ave.

Upcoming Programs

Summer STEM Flag Football
Who says that sports and science can’t mix? Join us for our STEM Flag Football program. Each program includes a STEM-based activity paired with traditional sports play.  Participants will explore concepts like receiver glove technology, throwing arm strength, distance calculations and more. 
When: Monday, July 8-Thursday, July 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse
Who: Grades 3-5 and 6-8
Cost: $285 per player

Summer Flag Football 
Skyhawks Flag Football teaches fundamental skills on both sides of the ball including passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling in a fun, positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks skills showcase!
When: Monday, July 15- Friday, July 19, 9 a.m.-noon
Where: Olympic Park
Who: Ages 5-12
Cost: $190 per person

Fall Youth Flag Football 
Join the excitement of our Youth Flag Football Program where teamwork, friendship and the thrill of the game collide! At our program, we're not just about scoring touchdowns; we're about building bonds that last a lifetime. Through fun-filled practices followed by exhilarating games, players learn the importance of teamwork, communication and trust on and off the field. Our volunteer coaches are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive, regardless of skill level. Enroll today and let the journey to football excellence begin!  Fee includes team jersey.  First two Saturdays will be practices only for 1.5 hours each.  Remaining six Saturdays will be a practice/play format in 1/5 hour blocks.

Who: Ages 7-12 (as of 9/1/24)-Coed and girls-only options available (Coed 9U for 7, 8 & 9 - Coed 12U for 10, 11 & 12 and Girls 12U for 10, 11 & 12)
