The city of Aurora’s annual Veterans Salute is back for 2023. This year’s event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center, 13200 E. 14th Place.
The 2023 Veterans Salute will be especially memorable as we celebrate all branches of service with this year’s theme, "Together They Serve." "For almost 30 years, Aurora has had a wonderful tradition of celebrating our military history with the annual Veterans Salute; often, we single out a unit or branch of service for recognition, but this year, we're paying tribute to all who wore the uniform equally with a program called "Together They Serve," said Rick Crandall, the event MC. “We can't wait to personally thank all who took the oath.”
Guests will have the opportunity to mix and mingle over coffee at 10:30 a.m. Doors for the main event open at 11 a.m., where attendees can enjoy a special luncheon, live entertainment and a ceremony that honors all our veterans. This year’s featured entertainment will be Dueling Pianos, performing classic throwback tunes with which attendees will want to sing along.
Tickets cost $15 per person, and sales end Friday, Oct. 20. Purchase yours by visiting or calling any of the city of Aurora’s recreation centers.
