All lobbyist and any person communicating directly, or soliciting others, to communicate with a covered official for the purpose of influencing or persuading a covered official must register with the city of Aurora and file quarterly financial reports.
Clients must also register in the Lobbyist Reporting System to authorize the lobbyist to lobby on their behalf. An email will be sent to the client with a link and token to register only after the lobbyist registration is completed and submitted.

Compliance and Penalties
Lobbying in the City of Aurora requires the person or organization to comply with all requirements defined in Ordinance 2021-08. Noncompliance with any aspect of the A.C.C Article IX Regulation of Lobbyists may require the City Clerk to deny a certificate or registration. The City Clerk may impose a fine or bar or suspend a certified registration.
