Environmental Education and Outreach

Aurora Water has one of the region’s most comprehensive water education programs. Recognized throughout Colorado as a leader in youth education, these programs have won numerous awards.

Our certified environmental educators conduct free programs for public and private schools in Aurora. These grade-specific choices for PreK-12 students meet Colorado’s State Academic Standards, as well as correlate to school district curriculum. 

Programs are also available for youth groups such as scouting groups, summer camp programs and environmental groups. 

Understanding where our water comes from, and how to protect it and conserve it are the cornerstones of ensuring students today receive the information necessary to become our future leaders and stakeholders.
