Free Loader Saturdays
Get ready for the planting season with free mulch! The city is offering FREE mulch on select Saturdays from 7 a.m. – noon. Bring your pick-up truck, buckets or trashcans and we'll fill it full of mulch! Bring your own shovels, pitchforks and containers to serve yourself. Mulch will be available while supplies last at the intersection of E. Hampden Ave. and S. Dawson St. Enter via S. Dawson St. and follow the signs (map available below).

Mulch is a gardener’s best friend as it helps reduce weeds and control grass, protects soil from erosion, increases soil fertility, improves soil aeration and temperature and helps retains soil moisture.
