Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire near 4200 South Grandby Court at around 6:30 pm. Upon arrival, AFR discovered two vehicles parked side by side, fully engulfed in flames. The fire was threatening nearby structures, but thanks to the swift actions of the fire crews, it was contained without causing any structural damage or injuries. The fire is out, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
To help prevent vehicle fires, it’s crucial to have your vehicle serviced regularly by a trained mechanic. Additionally, ensure that gas cans or propane tanks are kept away from passengers and are securely sealed and placed on a flat surface to prevent them from tipping over.
