Centennial House

Centennial House

This 1891 Queen Anne Victorian style home is one of the oldest original houses built as part of the Town of Fletcher, now called Aurora. Like all Fletcher homes, it was built with indoor plumbing to the kitchen and upstairs bath. The city of Aurora purchased the house in 1990 and community members restored it for Aurora’s centennial year in 1991.

Pictured below you'll see 360º images of the interior of the house. The ownership and occupancy of the home changed hands numerous times when it was a private residence. As a result, the furniture is not original to the house and there have been changes to the interior layout of the first floor. The fireplace mantle is from a different Fletcher home and it was moved to Centennial House during the 1991 restoration.
