Aurora Police Arrest 2 in November Fatal Vehicle Crash Investigation
Posted on 03/05/2025

(March 5, 2025) – The Aurora Police Department Major Crime Homicide Unit announced Wednesday two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal vehicle versus motorcycle crash that occurred in November in west Aurora.

Jeremy Austen House, 41, and Alexandra Lynn Noorlun, 33, both of Aurora, were arrested Tuesday night in the 12200 block of East Kansas Place during a coordinated operation involving the Aurora Police Department’s fugitive unit, Gang Intervention Unit and SWAT Team.

House was subsequently booked into the Aurora Municipal Detention Center on an active Aurora police warrant for first-degree homicide. Noorlun was booked on an active Aurora police warrant for charges of accessory to a crime and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies.

The charges stem from about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 18, 2024, when Aurora police patrol officers responded to a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of South Havana Street and East Jewell Avenue involving a Hyundai sedan and a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital, where he died. He was later identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office as Dorian Matthew Torrez, 34, of Denver.

The Aurora Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit responded to investigate the crash and developed information the driver of the Hyundai struck the motorcycle rider intentionally, prompting the Major Crime Homicide Unit’s involvement in the case. During the investigation, homicide detectives identified House and Noorlun as suspects and obtained warrants for their arrests in late February in Arapahoe District Court.

On Tuesday, fugitive unit and Gang Intervention Unit investigators developed information House and Noorlun were at a residence in the 12200 block of East Kansas Place. Upon initial contact, House and Noorlun barricaded and refused to exit the home.

The Aurora police SWAT Team responded. Officers negotiated with House and Noorlun for over two hours. The call ended with the suspects surrendering without incident.

“This case was exemplary of the tenacity, professionalism and commitment of the Aurora Police Department's Investigations Division and Special Operations Division personnel working together to get dangerous individuals off of our streets and deliver them to justice,” said Chad Cerinich, Chief of the Special Operations Division.

Noorlun remains in custody on $50,000 bond. House remains in custody without bond pending his first appearance in Arapahoe District Court.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.STOP (7867). Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
