Her deep connection with her French Bulldog, Phinn, inspired her to write "The Adventures of Phinn the Frenchie," a book that highlights the joy and resilience of pets with disabilities. Lammon’s work reflects her commitment to promoting kindness, empathy and a greater appreciation for the diverse abilities of all living beings.

Patrick R. Ritchen will have a Q&A at 6 p.m. about his 2020 book "American by Intention". Register and reserve your spot.

Patrick Ritchen was raised in Babylon, New York and attended Ithaca College. Following his military service he began his physical therapy career in Denver. Over a forty year career, he established three clinics while also performing consulting work. Gleaning from his Vietnam journal (1969-70) he conceived his present novel, "American by Intention." With no more than a theme in his head, Patrick enrolled and graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver with a Creative Writing degree. There he met and was mentored by Vance Aandahl who became a valued editor and life long friend. "American by Intention" could not have been written without Vance's tireless encouragement and thoughtful perspectives.
