Aurora Public Library is excited to announce the launch of its free mobile app, Aurora Public Library CO, with the goal of making library services more accessible to the community. It is available in 15 languages and can be downloaded to iOS and Android devices.
In alignment with the Aurora Public Library’s mission to empower the members of the Aurora community to live, learn and achieve, the mobile app allows library patrons to
-
explore the newly improved catalog;
- renew, check out and reserve items;
- access online resources;
- view upcoming programs and events;
- read the latest news, and more.
“The new mobile app brings our services and experiences to a new level, especially for access,” said Deputy Director for Library Services Joanna McNeal. “With so many offerings available in one place that is easy to use, and in different languages, the library can now be closer to patrons and to younger generations.”
Activating the app is easy with a library card, which has a barcode the app can scan to log in. Obtaining a library card is free and can be requested at any of the seven branches located throughout Aurora.
The Aurora Public Library app can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play by searching Aurora Public Library CO or by visiting AuroraGov.org/LibraryMobileApp. Explore what an Aurora Public Library card has to offer at your fingertips.
