Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a two-alarm structure fire near 1800 South Truckee Way on Friday, April 26, at approximately 2:40 p.m.
AFR found a two-story single-family home fully involved in a fire. The two neighboring homes had minor fire damage to their exterior. Fire crews quickly contained the fire to the primary home and saved the adjacent houses. The primary home had heavy fire damage on both floors. Fire crews evacuated all three homes. Two of the homes are tenable, and the primary house is not. The displaced family will stay with relatives who live nearby. The fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
Many of these fire crews came from another fire on the other side of town. This was the third working structure fire in a short amount of time.
