Man Dies After Crash on S. Parker Road
(March 7, 2024) – The Aurora Police Traffic Investigations Unit is investigating a fatal crash near E. Temple Drive and S. Parker Road on Monday afternoon.
Approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a crash involving two vehicles. Investigations showed a black Dodge Durango driven by an adult male was traveling northbound on S. Parker Road when it collided with a maroon Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep was occupied by an adult female driver and an adult male passenger.
The driver and passenger of the Jeep suffered from serious bodily injury and were transported to the hospital. The male passenger succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
Initial reports did not include injuries to the driver of the Dodge Durango, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the crash and was transported to the hospital.
The investigation shows the driver of the Jeep Cherokee made an illegal left turn, resulting in the crash.
The Arapahoe County Coroner has the identity of the deceased.
This is the 7th traffic related fatality this year.
