Creating art pieces out of clay with the numerous processes and multiple firing methods is awesome—a vital experience in my life that I would love to share to others.
The major element in my work, while perfecting the form, is emphasis on colors or hues formed in diverse firings from the effect of glazes, chemicals, or natural combustion. I aspire to create pottery that is treasured—while reflecting my essence in my artwork. As well for others to succeed and enjoy, my motive in recent years is to teach my knowledge of the wheel or hand-built pottery from novice to the skilled potter.
Working with clay has reshaped my character, refined my talents, remolded my life—and redefined me. Teaching is humbling me… As I continue to learn to put others first!
