Multi-vehicle accident with extrication at Iliff Ave. & Chambers Rd. injures 5.
At approximately 11:40pm on September 2nd, Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reports of a serious motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles near the intersection of Iliff Ave. and Chambers Rd.
Upon arrival, the first arriving crew completed an initial assessment and found that three vehicles were involved with a total of 5 patients, 2 of which required extrication as they were trapped in their vehicle. 1 of the trapped patients suffered serious, potentially life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital with lights and sirens via ambulance, after having been freed from the vehicle. The 4 remaining patients were found to have suffered non serious injuries and taken to area hospitals via ambulance for further medical evaluation and treatment. The accident is under investigation via APD at this time.
