The Adopt-A-Street program encourages citizens to take an active role in helping to keep our streets free of litter. Show you care about Aurora and help the environment by volunteering to Adopt-A-Street.
By volunteering to Adopt-A-Street, individuals or organizations agree to remove litter from a minimum of one mile of selected roadway for a period of one year. The group is asked to conduct their cleanups once a month, weather permitting. In return, the city will furnish the volunteers with trash bags and safety vests to help them with the cleanup. The city will also post a sign indicating the name of the adopting group at both ends of their section of adopted street.
