  2. OR come into Police Headquarters at 15001 E. Alameda Parkway to make a report.

  3. OR file a report online.

Please bring any documents, such as credit reports, credit card statements, letters or contracts, that may assist us in helping you. Also, please bring a government-issued ID (such as a drivers license or ID card, passport).

If this was an internet purchase or auction, please contact Internet Crime Complaint Center website and make a report through them for faster action and to make sure it is investigated by the proper agency.

Protection Tips

  • Be careful what you carry in your wallet/purse. What information would someone have if you lost it?

  • Only carry your Social Security Card when necessary. Check your credit history yearly; federal law allows you to request a free copy from each Reporting Agency. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com to order.

  • Consider using a P.O. Box for bills, and only place outgoing mail in boxes at the Post Office.

  • Verify every charge on your credit card statements.
