Summer of Imagination with Aurora Public Library

Aurora Public Library’s Summer of Imagination
Posted on 05/25/2021

Summer of Imagination, Aurora Public Library’s annual summer reading program, launches June 1. This year’s program, “Tails & Tales,” is all about animals – cats, dogs, bears, monkeys, elephants – any animal you can think of from around the world --and maybe from other worlds. There is a program for every age, babies through adults, and all ages win prizes for reading this summer.

Register at your local Aurora Public Library or visit to sign up starting June 1.

In addition to the reading program, Aurora Public Library is hosting programs to help make the dog days of summer cooler. With the help of the Aurora Animal Shelter and the Parks, Recreation and Open Space’s Naturalist Team, the library will be hosting virtual programs about animals – domestic and wild – as well as fun contests to get your imagination running wild this summer.
