Information Meeting on Sidewalk Widening Project
Posted on 02/17/2021

Find out more about the planned design and construction of a 10-foot pedestrian boulevard in northwest Aurora at a virtual meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, regarding the 25th Avenue Sidewalk Widening Project.

The pedestrian boulevard will be built on the north side of 25th Avenue between Fulton Street and Iola Street. The project, which will maintain on-street parking, is designed to provide a wider off-street space for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Construction will start later this year, and completion of the project will fulfill a recommendation from the Northwest Aurora Mobility Study, which was finished in late 2018.

The Feb. 23 meeting will provide information to residents who will be impacted by construction. To connect to the meeting on WebEx, visit for the link. To listen to the meeting live in Spanish, call 1.877.820.7831 and enter the number 704637#.
