Usually meets in the City Council Chambers, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. For the most current information regarding meeting dates and times, click on the Boards & Commissions Calendar button.
Additional meetings are sometimes added during the course of the year. "Special" meetings generally deal only with one particular issue and are usually not available as a normal hearing date.

To provide recommendations to City Council on zonings and a wide range of planning and development related issues. Unless appealed to City Council, Site Plans and Use Approvals are also under the purview of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Members shall be registered electors and residents of the City of Aurora for at least one year immediately preceding the date of their appointment. No member shall hold paid office or position in the City administration. If any member ceases to be a resident of the City of Aurora, membership shall immediately terminate.
