**The city will continue to adhere to guidance from CDPHE. We encourage park patrons to continue to practice physical distancing when out enjoying our parks and trails. Please remember that our restrooms and areas conducive to public gatherings within parks continue to be closed. We will not be accepting or approving any park shelter reservations for the remainder of 2020.**

General Park Information

Park hours: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

City Spraygrounds: The city maintains two spraygrounds located at Great Plains Park and Red-tailed Hawk Park. Both spraygrounds will reopen on July 8 and will operate daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Park Noise: Keep the volume of your music and voices to a reasonable level. City code (Sec. 146-1802) limits residential sound levels to 55 decibels during the day which, for example, is the sound of a normal conversation. After 9 p.m., the level drops to 45 decibels. Please be considerate of park neighbors and other park users.

Park Shelters: 20 of the city's parks have reservable shelters with grills. All other shelters are free and first come, first served during park hours.

Fires: permitted only in designated grills and personal grills. Portable charcoal grills can be used on dirt, concrete or an asphalt area. Grills cannot be used on any grass areas.

Wildlife: Feeding wildlife, including geese, is not allowed and can harm the animal.

Pets: must be leashed and under control along trails and in parks, except at a dog park. Be sure to practice Park Pet Etiquette. Pets are not allowed in baseball/softball complexes.

Dog owners must promptly dispose of their pet's waste.

Keys for tennis courts can be purchased for $5 at ACAA, Expo, Meadowood, Utah Pool and the Recreation Registration main office, 1st floor of the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.

Review the complete list of rules and regulations for Aurora's parks, open space areas and reservoirs.
