Media interest is a great opportunity for the city to educate the public. The media is one of the best ways the city can get a message out on a mass scale. Excellent media relationships are built on transparency, responsiveness and credibility. When speaking with the media, the Public Relations Division demonstrates the capabilities of the city and the expertise of its employees. This helps establish public trust with the listening audience.
