Author Visit: Scott Aubin
Posted on 05/05/2022
Join the Aurora Public Library and the Aurora Police Department as we team up to present Scott Aubin at the Aurora Central Library on Saturday, May 14, 1 p.m.

Author and suicide prevention speaker Scott Aubin served in the Air Force for 21 years, and will share his life story with the audience. From surviving childhood sexual abuse to coping with PTSD after serving in the U.S. Air Force, Scott's life experiences led him to depression, rage, substance abuse, and attempted suicide. Having overcome so much trauma, Scott shares his inspirational journey with the audience, in a presentation he describes as "raw and truthful."

Scott, joined by his Great Dane Service Dog, Grey, will focus on the importance of speaking out, asking for help, and how his success was achieved by taking "My Mess and making it My Message."
