Aurora Public Library: Career Online High School

The Aurora Public Library, in conjunction with the Colorado State Library and the educational publishing company Gale (a part of Cengage Learning) is now offering adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate through the Career Online High School program.

This program provides a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce, and further their education.

The Aurora Public Library’s Career Online High School is open to residents of Aurora and neighboring communities. Applicants who successfully complete an online self-assessment and prerequisite course, as well as a follow up in-person interview, will be considered for enrollment.
Once enrolled in the program, Career Online High School pairs each student with an online academic coach who in turn provides the student with an individual career path, offers them ongoing guidance, evaluates their performance, and connects the student with the necessary resources needed to master the courses. Students will have up to 18 months to complete the program.
