Previously Released Information -
On September 24, 2019 at about 10:04 PM, Aurora Police and Fire responded to a single vehicle crash in the 22600 block of Heritage Parkway.  During the investigation they found that a 2014 Dodge truck had been driving east and ran off the road into a park bench and trees.  The crash resulted in the death of a pedestrian who may have been walking down the sidewalk, the Arapahoe County Coroners officer Identified the victim as Dale Fabricius 06/03/1959.

The victim in the accident is the brother of Lee Fabricius 03/11/1969, who was driving the truck.   At this time, we believe alcohol consumption to be a factor in the crash but that cannot be confirmed until toxicology reports are reviewed.  Mr. Lee Fabricius is in custody at a local hospital. Because he is in the hospital a picture of Mr. Fabricius is not available at this time.  Once Mr. Fabricius is released from the hospital he will be booked into the Aurora Municipal Jail on the charge of Vehicular Homicide.

In consultation with the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office the charge of Vehicular Homicide might change as the investigation continues.
