On the afternoon of June 25, 2018 at about 3:15 P.M., Aurora Police Officers responded to the area of East Pacific Avenue and South Peoria Street on the report of a shooting. As officers arrived, they located one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound at the Family Dollar located at 2110 South Peoria Street.

Officers quickly determined that a single shooting incident occurred at 2095 South Paris Way, where two adult male victims were shot. One of these victims ran across the street after being shot and he was located by officers at the Family Dollar. The male who ran to Family Dollar remains in serious condition and tragically, the other victim succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The deceased victim will be identified at a later date by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.

Aurora Major Crimes/Homicide Detectives responded to the scene along with additional police resources. As a part of the on-going investigation, Detectives will work to determine what lead up to the shooing. At this time, there are no suspects in custody. We are asking for the public’s assistance in solving this murder and gathering any information that witnesses may have. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 by contacting Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP (7867).
