District 3 Announces Plans for the 2017 National Night Out 
Residents of Aurora are invited to celebrate National Night Out (NNO) with the Aurora Police Department and the rest of the country on Tuesday, August the 1st. NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The goal of the campaign is to make Aurora a safer place.

The Police Area Representative Team for District 3, which serves the Southeast area of Aurora has announced the District's plans for the evening. A caravan of police officers and department vehicles will be traveling to and visiting NNO events throughout the District. Below is a list of their scheduled stops.

4:00p.m.     Target Store at 16190 East Quincy Ave.

5:40p.m.     Eastern Hills Community Church, 25511 E. Smoky Hill Rd.
                     Sagebrush Park, 4744 S. Evanston Way.

6:15p.m.     Summit Park Townhomes, 4245 S. Fraser St.
                     Frontier Elementary School, 3200 S. Jericho Way.

6;55p.m.     Mission Viejo Park, 3999 S. Mission Pkwy.
                     Lake Shore, S. Zeno St. & E. Wesley Pl.

7:25p.m.     Tierra Park, 14793 E. Asbury Ave.
                     Peace with Christ Church, 3290 S. Tower Rd.

Officers will spend about 30 minutes at each event. Times are subject to change.
